Bug ID: 2235254 Summary: monospace font suddenly looks different after adobe-source-code-pro-fonts-2.042.1.062.1.026-1.fc38 Product: Fedora Version: 38 Status: NEW Component: adobe-source-code-pro-fonts Assignee: mattr...@folkwolf.net Reporter: kpa...@redhat.com QA Contact: extras...@fedoraproject.org CC: fonts-bugs@lists.fedoraproject.org, m...@net-c.com, mattr...@folkwolf.net Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora Description of problem: GNOME uses Source Code Pro Regular 10 as a monospace font, so it's visible e.g. in gnome-terminal or gnome-text-editor. With adobe-source-code-pro-fonts-2.042.1.062.1.026-1.fc38, the characters now look grayer, less black, it's very hard to read it now. I assume this is a bug, but if it's not, this is not an expected change in a stable release.
