Getting Shop Ready for O-Week Opening (Helen)
Shop has become a tad unkempt since Monika and co's good work with the working bee. So the float has been taken out of the till so no sales will be made until O-Week lest we undo any tidying that does get done.
Could anyone who is willing to help keep the shop open during O-Week (and knows how to keep the shop open etc) just come in whenever they can.
Monika To Get a Key
A key item, aha. It will happen, if we can find one...much key-related talk followed.
Budget for Aesthetics/Publicity People (Revisit)
<Helen> We need to allocate a budget to (Renata and Monika). We need this for what is written down in the books. Quantities on checks may need adjustment because some paper for the o-week showbags had not in fact been paid for yet. Renata still needs to put together a list of some items she may want to get done on this sessions budget. [Monikas was for, for those interested; flyer holder product info board, display boards, new banner, labels and stuff, tidying up for o-week].
Other O-Week Related Stuff
The little inserts for the showbags are done and they are fine pieces of paper indeed. The article by Renata is on page 23 of the Weeks 0 & 1 Tharunka. The cover says "Now less shithouse" and it may or may not only be Renata's article that keeps this statement true!
Membership Cards
Monika showed us the membership cards for this year to general applause from the gathered spectators. They're GREEN and say 2004 on them. So anyone who doesn't produce a green card with 2004 on it when asking for their discount can be spanked soundly and told that they should renew to remain an excellent member of our happy family. that is also excellent.
Elections - Circulate Descriptions
Elections to be held in the first week of semester. Could we get as many people as possible to come so we can elect management committee. Me to send around an electronic mail at three junctures in time. People to ask Helen for any job descriptions they may want.
Report backs/Comments on Previous Minutes
We have logo-d up T-Shirts chopper dave. And aprons. These came from the previously advertised T-Shirt making BONANZA held in one of the quad rooms.

Danesh - Get everybody up to speed about the next meeting, as it will be a somewhat important one.
Rob - Send Danesh whatever was used for advertising the elections last year.
Rob - Tidy up the shop when he's in there with nothing else to do in preparation for D-Week
