hi all!

there will be a meeting to chat about the northmall
development area/law building (ie area near the food
coop where the uni is planning do so some buidling) on
tuesday next week (wk14). we are meeting at the coop
at 1130 and the plan is to have a brainstorm, chat
etc. come up with some ideas, options and strategies
and things about how the it could affect the coop etc.
if would be great if as many people as possibel could
show up (and yep that inclueds *you*).

ive set up a meeting with the guild solictor on
tuesday afternoon so get some legal advise and find
out what our situation and rights are from that angle.
ive also got us a meeting with the guild's president
and excuitive offer (the space the shop is in belongs
to the guild and they are our landlords so to speak).
im more than happy for other people to come to meet
these people with me (and would really really
appreicaite the support!) but would ask that if you
want to come to talk to these people that you make
sure you come to the brainstorm meeting too so that we
as the coop come across as cohesivie, organised and
all that jazz.

the aim of the brainstorm, stratgey thing on tuesday
at 1130 is to come up with questions to ask the
solicitor, work out what our concerns and feelings are
re how the building would/could affect the coop in
terms of i) actual building/construction phase and ii)
once built. the whole thing is currently in
'consulation' phase as per renata's email. so we need
to work out what we as a coop think and want to do. ie
to have somthing to take to the meetigns with the
solictor and the guild, ie get us prepared and
organised and also for everyone to have a chance to
have their say.

dont forget: 1130 at the shop tuesday next week!
cheers
monika
