Its Oweek this week which marks the beginning of co-op goodness for 2006 - we are open again and veggies are back.
A new year also means its time to renew your co-op membership and get your 2006 card so you can keep getting your 10% discount, the cheaper veggies rate & of course earn your 25% or 40% discount if you do at least 1 or 2 hours a week at the coop respectively. As an added bonus, this year we have an amazing membership pack with lotsa free goodies in it for you to pick up once you've paid your $10 or $20 for a household membership.
We will be open about 10-5 monday to friday just for Oweek (starts Monday 21st Feb) and will also be doing a stall with the Enviro Collective. If you have some time & would like to help out we'd love the help - just drop by the co-op.
From week 1 we will be open during our new core hours of 11- 330 on Tuesdays & Wednesdays and 10-6! on Thursdays (veggie day) & the coop needs you to help make sure this happens.
There are scheduled training sessions at 12 and 1 on wednesdays and thursdays for the next three weeks so you can have your first go at working in the shop or an get a bit of a refresh & familarise yourself with a few things we've changed & start getting those big discounts as well has hanging out & having fun at the co-op. If you cant make those times but would like to be trained just leave your name and contact details in the diary.
Veggies are also back and happening out of the co-op again so get your orders & money in by Tuesday afternoon (or give me a text message on 0414 901 276 before 4pm on Tuesday with details of your order if you cant make it to uni before then. Veggies need to be picked up between 2 and 5 on Thursday, the same as last year.
Last but definately not least, we are also having a welcome back bbq/ dinner & ar! e looking forward to seeing lots of you there. The fun kicks off from about 6pm on Friday of week 1 (3rd March) at Coggee beach. We are meeting at the bbq's and will have some sunflowers or yellow baloons so you can find us. Please rsvp to [EMAIL PROTECTED] so we have an idea of numbers to work out how much food to get - there'll be veggies, marinated tofu and Thoughtful Foods own special satay sauce.
Looking forward to seeing you around the coop really soon!
