Dear Thoughtfuls!
Yes, yes, sad and unfortunate as the situation is, we feel that it is only fair to let you know and humbly ask for your assistance in the following important and somewhat urgent matter
Our dear Co-op is feeling somewhat down of late, and this is been traced back to the Co-op running very low on jars that people can use as containers for their goodies at present and we are therefore on a mission.
The aim: to track down their whereabouts and/or where necessary find pre-loved and pre-used jars, accompanied by their lids, that are willing to begin the wonderful adventure that is the reuse and return cycle that keeps going round and round and round in the place of their elders who may be becoming somewhat tired and battered in their never-ending journey.
Importantly, it has come to our attention that many of these jars are feeling rather homesick and are need of some tender loving care and be have, which is very disturbing indeed, even received notes of jars missing in action or extended holidays out in the great beyond that is outside their original owners' and the Co-op's doors that have gone on a little longer than the jars can bear.
Given this, the Co-op is hoping that they will be returned to their home in the coop's jar shelf along with their lids, nicely washed. The word is that all these empty jars are just sitting out in the big wide world are feeling somewhat unappreciated, neglected, overlooked and underused and are itching for their present caretakers to wash them and return them to the shop. Once there, they pass through a ritual as known as the sterile washing procedure (although they do admit this process is not the most enjoyable of experiences and may at time be somewhat painful). Next they are lovingly returned to the exciting place known to them as the Thoughtful Foods jar shelf by beings they call the Co-op’s wonderful volunteer elves and faeries.
Having reached this resting point in their journey, they eagerly wait and anticipate being chosen by someone with a friendly face who will replenish them with some new, fantastic goods, or if they are really lucky mixture of goodies, fix on their lids so the precious contents wont be lost or split , and so make them feel whole and full again... This fills them with new energy and life and they are ready to face the outside world again, ready go to other never seen before destinations before being overcome by feelings of homesickness once more and a desire to be clean again and return to the Co-op.
Rumours have also been heard, and confirmed by a number of wise elderly jars, that are among the very few remaining in the Co-op at this time, that many very young and almost new jars have heard of this magical place, whose name they seek but do not know, where it is possible to be initiated and then, wonder after wonder, be refilled and what more reused. Some, they say, tell stories of this process repeating over and over... We therefore request that should you know or some across any such jars (and of course we much not forget their lids, as if they are overlooked as they play an essential role in this story as the jars cannot depart the Co-op without them without fear of their contents being spilled or lost, or not being selected as they do not have a lid) to let them know that the place they seek is the Thoughtful Foods Co-op (noting that the name Pigweed is used by some very wise and older jars to denote the same). Moreover, we ask that you do your best to help them and guide them to their destination,  and in the interests of their welfare and to save them any embarrassment upon arriving at this much fabled place, to show them some love and care by washing them and making them nice and clean before you send them on their way......
Many thanks and much Co-op goodness to you all
