Thoughtful Food’s News - Opening hours, stocktake & upcoming working bees

Out of Session Opening Hours for Tuesday 13th June – Thursday 6th July (Stuvac & Exams)

* This week only we will be open from 1-5pm on Tuesday 13th (yep that’s today)
* For the next for weeks, we will open on Thursday from 9am-6pm (Thursday 15th, 22nd & 29th of June & 6th July)
* Veggies are on as usual for the next four weeks – money still needs to be in by the end of the Tuesday in the week you want your veggies in & boxes will be ready to be picked up Thursdays between 2 & 5pm. Please make sure you put the date you want your veggies on your envelope when you drop off your order. If the co-op is closed when you drop by (which it will be every day except Thursdays) just slide your completed form with the money in it under the door so that it ends up at least 15-20cm from the door
* Your co-op needs you in order to stay open & we’re looking for volunteers to put their names down on the roster. If you’re interested in volunteering in the co-op but haven’t been to a training session, please contact Monika ([EMAIL PROTECTED], 0414 901 276) so we can arrange a time.
Stocktake arrangements

The  co-op will be closed for stocktaking between Friday the 30th of June & Wednesday the 5th of July – its * really* important that one no comes into the co-op & tries to buy anything or move anything during this period. It’s ok to drop off veggie orders & money in that period but nothing else. We will be open on both Thursday the 29th of June & Thursday the 6th of July so people can do their shopping then.

Upcoming working bees – Friday 7th of July, Wednesday 19th of July & Thursday 20th of July

There are three working bees days coming up as we need to do a really big clean of the co-op at the end of this financial year, then restock it with lotsa goodies & get the place all pretty & ready for Session 2 so we can hit the ground running. We need a bunch of volunteers to help out on each of these days so that everything that needs doing will get done – come to one, two or all three if you’re really keen. We’ll kick off at about 1030am, stop for a picnic-y type lunch & keep going until about 5 or so.  You can come for an hour, two or a whole day & of course your time counts towards discounts! As well as getting things that need doing in the co-op done, it’ll be heaps of fun hanging out with co-op crew.
The first working bee on Friday 7th of July will see us do a shut down clean of the co-op & a bit of rearranging following stocktake. Working bee number 2 on Wednesday 19th July will include restocking the co-op, doing some promo prep & hopefully some mural painting while the last one on Thursday 20th is for getting the place all sparkly, clean, pretty & ready in time for Session 2 as well as finalising promotions stuff.
