[FOOD_CO-OP] cleaning and veggies 24/8/06

Hello all!   I am working as the internal coordinator in the co-op this semester, which means that I am in charge of shop aesthetics as well as doing the veggie ordering. I am thoroughly enjoying doing this job and I hope that those of you who get veggies are enjoying them as well!   I am writing for two reasons. First, I will be overseas for the next couple of weeks to present a paper at a conference. Because I won't be around to do the cleaning I normally do, it would be good if everyone who works in the shop is really conscious of doing some cleaning when you work. If you are ever bored, there are a number of things that always need doing, such as:   Sweeping the floor Doing the washing up and putting away dry dishes Wiping down barrel lids Wiping down the shelves Making sure the shop is generally tidy   Secondly, I have been doing the veggie ordering this semester and this time around I thought we'd try something new. At this time of year, kale is cheap, in season and very nutritious, so I've ordered a bunch for tomorrow.
