I think this is interesting and so I have applied your patch. Thank you for that. I've also checked the Ant manual and haven't found anything alike. I'm not totally happy with the name of the parameter but haven't been able to come up with a better one. We can still change it if necessary. The main point is that it's documented. As an example of the feature I was able to simplify the build.xml in examples/fo.
