The removal was intentional. The class is really an outdated duplicate
of the PNGRenderer. The functionality is basically the same. So I
thought it safe to just remove. I doubt anyone is using it. It's also
not tied into the MIME-based renderer lookup. We can always restore that
if someone disagrees.
