test.fo - c fop.xconf -pcl out.pcl
ghostpcl-9.52-linux-x86_64/gpcl6-952-linux-x86_64 -DNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -s
OutputFile=out.pdf out.pcl
you should see same text in the layout without overlapping glyphs
