Thanks both for your analysis.
I could able to generate the expected output by taking out the mask attribute
along with <g> as suggested.
So to conclude, do you suggest to pre process the SVG content to filter out the
mask attribute before processing it with FOP or do you consider this as a bug
and can I expect a fix?
