Actually that's very good to know. From a designer perspective FOP has felt a bit like the themes for mozilla. It's like designing for a moving target
The spec itself was a (slowly) moving target until recently. You can still expect amendments for clarification, there has been a few holes spotted.
There is still a problem with the FOP API for embedding, i think this will be in flux for some time.
