We may have solved some of these issues by switching to exclusively embedding Type 1 fonts rather than TrueType. It's at least solved some of the print crashing/corrupting issues.

However, we have a significant percentage of users that are complaining they can not display the PDF properly because Reader is reporting that Helvetica cannot be found. The versions of Reader are varied, but even users with 5.1 are having this problem. Any ideas?
