Does anybody know a workaround to insert my background image in a table cell beginning by the right side ?

I had a similar problem, but with an image that was too large too fit (I have a 300dpi image which I scales nicely to hi-res when used in fo:external-graphics. But when used in @background-image, it doesn't scale. The only 'workaround' I came up with, is to use a graphics program to scale the image (or crop in your case) to fit correctly.
