If all you want to do is have some content flowed at the end of the document, just put it in your main template after the last apply-templates and it will end up on the last page. If you want a special footer (or header I think), use Britta's work-around. (*Chris*)

There are several workarounds, depending on the actual requirements. A specific footer can be implemented using markers or a footnote.
