problem with the combination of numberation and sort

Hello List, i have a little problem with the combination of numberation (<xsl:number format="1.1" level="multiple" count=" value | anOtherValue" />) and sort (<xsl:sort select="value"/>) If I use only xsl:number or xsl:sort, it works fine. But a combination of both won't work. The sort works but the nuberation is the same like in the orginal XML file. The sorted List is not renumbert. Can you help me please? --    Dipl.-Inf.
