There's a proposed work-around if you follow the closed duplicate bug at the bottom of the above page. I think Victor Mote has fixed the issue in his foray branch: http://foray.sourceforge.net/release.html It's also not fixed, yet, in CVS HEAD (redesign), I think. I hope we can backport his fix into the redesign later.
