Mark,
Would you be willing to write up a concise document for this? That way one won't have to surf the list. Also, if there are any other notes and/or tips you can provide, it would be very helpful. You might want to modify the Subject: [New Subject (was Re: Font Metrics) to make the subject more clear.
Thanks!

Andreas,
Jarred the necessary classes for a TTF converter. Just in case anyone
refers to this thread in the future, you also need the tools\io classes.
Thanks again,
Mark

Hi Mark,
The fonts page on the apache fop web site contains the following info re<snip />
generating font metrics files.
I would like to jar up the necessary classes for doing this (to be packaged with an ActiveX). Does anyone have a list of the classes that are necessary?
IIC, then it should be sufficient to include (for FOP 0.20.5): - all classes in the org.apache.fop.fonts package - and of course the org.apache.fop.fonts.apps.TTFReader class
If you don't need the functionality for type1 fonts, you obviously don't
need to include that package, nor the PFMReader app.
HTH!
Greetz,
Andreas
