Hi Andreas, I am sorry that I did not make this clear: It was a playing with words, so I did not speak of white-space in the sense of the XSL-FO definitions, but in the sense of characters creating "white space".
But since my status is that of not-knowing much by default, you were correct in assuming that I did not know that ;).
