Thanks for the report. It looks like a yum update httpd restored welcome.conf which shows the welcome page rather than a directory listing like we want. Luckily it only affected the index and not the actual files so yum could still update.
I don't see why we would have timeout but I can't investigate that because I don't have access to any monitoring.
