We are currently on Katello 3.1 and Foreman 1.12. I am planning to upgrade to Katello 3.4. Before I run the upgrade steps, I would like to ensure that all weekly sync jobs are in sync with their respective repositories. CentOS 5 and EPEL 5 sync jobs are in "Sync incomplete" status because the corresponding repositories no longer exist at centos.org and fedoraproject.org. I do not see a way to prevent these repositories from being sync'd from the weekly sync schedule without removing the repos from CentOS product. Please note that CentOS 5 and EPEL 5 repos are included in a published CV subscribed by legacy CentOS 5 hosts. So, removing the repos from the CV is not an option as the legacy hosts are still in use and may need a package update until they are decommissioned.
My main concern is attempting to upgrade Katello with CentOS 5 sync jobs in "sync incomplete" status may cause issues during the upgrade. Does anyone have any recommendation as to how to get around this problem? Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Foreman users" group.
