You can access and mount some IRIX XFS file systems in Linux.  You need
xfs file system support and you need SGI partitioning schema support in
your kernel.  If you have these two, you should be able to mount the
file systems.  

*However*  ;)

Those file systems must have been unmounted cleanly *and* if  XLV Volume
Management was used on those systems you won't be able to access them
within Linux (no support for XLV in Linux).

Do you know the partitioning schema for those disks?

Also, try sfdisk -l -uS dd.image.file
