I have had to break the desktop system model up into separate installs because
I wasn't able to download the really big changesets at home.

Downloading 229337KB (58%) of 390164KB at 62KB/sec ...Changeset was truncated
in transit (expected 399528441 bytes, got 234841722 bytes)

Turn threading off your conaryrc if you are running into the error: download
thread terminated unexpectedly, cannot continue update'

echo "threaded False" >> ~/.conaryrc

Tested the ova in Virtualbox on a macbook pro.

Used Parallels to convert the .vbox into Parallels install.

You may see weird conary issues with Virtualbox. I recommend something from
vmware or parallels to use the image.

An ova is a virtual machine format that can be imported into VMWare Player,
ESX, Workstation, Virtualbox, or Parallels.

An OVA is a tar archive of an OVF folder. So you can just use tar to uncompress
it.

An OVF is a collection of items in a single folder. Most commonly
this is a description file (.ovf) a manifest file (.mf), and virtual
machine state files (*.vhd or *.vmdk)

The OVA is easier to download and share.
