IMHO (and I will probably be criticized for this, but that's ok ;) ) conary
on its own (and FL AFAIK is the only desktop distro to use it) makes FL a
great distro for the linux-savvy. I.e. not switchers (at whom there are
already other plenty of other distros that aim anyway), not sadomasochists
(gentoo), and not GPL fascists, but those people like linux not because it's
free($), but because it's linux. Maybe they know a little bash, or are
willing to learn a little bash, but still would rather use the GUI for
almost everything, and like it when things just work so that they can be
productive with their computer instead of spending either hours recovering
from crashes and buggy software or hours compiling their own kernels. In
other words, knowledgable to an extent, but not fanatical.
