As I mentioned to Paul directly in email, I have made some updates that help incorporate these ideas.
As a follow-up, are there any objections to me removing the "Foresight Project" boards for each team? Do we suspect that the teams will use those in any capacity, or will the email lists suffice? I support there's no need to manage those extra resources if we aren't going to use them, and I really think the team-specific stuff seems to work best in the mailing lists. -Stef On Tue, Mar 25, 2008 at 2:21 PM, Paul Cutler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I'd like to follow-up on the idea of splitting the forums into two > categories, one for users and one for (potential) developers. > > We were not accepted in to Google's Summer of Code, but we will have > an exciting announcement in the next few days with our own version of > a contest. > > For that reason, I'd like to add a developer category with three forums: > > * Conary Packaging (We've had some new folks in IRC lately with > packaging questions we can use this forum for ) > * Development Projects: Potential developers can announce the packages > they've built in their personal repository that are available for > testing, and link from JIRA. > * Contest (more coming soon!) > > Thoughts? > > Paul > > On Thu, Mar 20, 2008 at 8:29 PM, Stephanie Watson > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Yeah I wasn't sure what to do to break thing up, but I figured we could > give > > it a week or two to see where the bulk of conversations are happening > and go > > from there.
