I'm trying to get my head wrapped around Fornax, namely how I get
started using it and what modules I am able to use.

One thing that I find somewhat confusing is the bifurcation of the
Sculptor pieces and the UML2 pieces. For instance, there seem to be
cartridges for Sculptor and there seem to be cartridges for UML2. The
UML2 ones seem to be similar to what I want - i.e. hibernate, spring,
etc.

Are the sculptor pieces completely separate from the UML pieces?

I was evaluating AndroMDA, and liked a lot of what it provides by the
way of sterotypes.. etc. for UML modeling of the domain model, but
Andro seems to be a dying project and there were a few things about
it that I didn't like.

I'm not a UML bigot, and I am just fine using a DSL to define my
domain model - in fact, I'm pretty sure I can do it a lot faster in a
text editor than I can in a UML editor - but I'm wondering which
branch is more powerful in terms of cartridges - the Sculptor DSL
cartidges or the UML2 pieces.

A lot of the maven artifacts in the repository seem to be very outdated.

Is there a place that has an up-to-date reference on how to get
started with Fornax? And perhaps a place that explains why there is a
set of UML2 cartidges and a set of sculptor cartidges?

Ryan
