I don't know what is wrong. You have installed Eclipse Graphical Modeling Framework SDK from Ganymede update site. Do you see the menu option "Initialize ecore_diagram" when you right click on a ecore file?
Look in Eclipse log file to see if you find anything more. I opened the ecore diagram and it looks ok.
