Tifa Foundation ( <http://www.tifafoundation.org/> www.tifafoundation.org) is a not-for-profit organization promoting an open society in Indonesia, which respects diversity and honors the rule of law, justice and equality. The Foundation is currently looking for an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR To be based in Jakarta and reporting to the Foundation's Board. He or she is responsible for leading and managing various programs related to Human Rights, Local Governance, and Media and Capacity Building. The successful candidate should have: - a proven strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of people and complex programs, prefeably with some exposures in international NGOs, not-for-profit, international development or donor organizations; - some experience in fundraising, lobbying, public relations, and managing finance and grants; - excellent communication, negotiation and networking skilss with all levels and types of organization to develop partnerships and collaborations; - a thorough understanding of the roles of civil society and NGOs in an effort to develop an open and democratic society in Indonesia; - excellent ability in speaking and writing English and Bahasa Indonesia - relevant university degree or professional experience This is a full-time position based on a contract basis (renewable based on perfomance).
