Apple iPhones are significantly more closed than Android phones. Indeed you can run PARI/GP on an Android phone without rooting it: <http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/download.html#paridroid> It should not be hard to cross-compile GAP for Android and run it in an Android shell.
