oookkkk, couldnt find the same page but a bit google shows me this one in firsts results:
http://keithdevens.com/wiki/ProgrammerFonts it has a pretty decent amount of fonts in the list (though it lacks some, obviously), not all are vector based and not all are free, but its worth check it since it has variety i have NOT tested all those fonts because i found my favorite time and time ago (monospace 821), and then recently i found my better-favorite (consolas), so i dont feel like testing anything else and well, monospace 821 is not on the list as far as i can see, so: correction - it is not called "monospace 821" but "monospace 821 BT" (viz http://www.konithuki.com/Cosas/Temporal/monos_0.gif ) (viz http://www.konithuki.com/Cosas/Temporal/monos_1.gif ) and also, consolas: correction - it has zero slash, i wrote too fast previously, my brain must be damaged i use it everyday and i said it wrong, lol (viz http://www.konithuki.com/Cosas/Temporal/consolas_0.gif ) (viz http://www.konithuki.com/Cosas/Temporal/consolas_1.gif ) is shipped also in ms office betas, not only vista betas, anyways not everyone can see consolas in action so... last but not least, a bit of life's irony, in some of the font-finding pages i saw some ms-deceiving people talking their crap, and saying that they love andale mono, which, btw, is from ms... LOL!!!! either way, ms fonts often have excellent readability since most of them are made by monotype and/or agfa, being consolas IMHO the peak of readability (thats why i like it after all) and before i forgot, turn on antialiasing always, if you can, and if it works fine in you screen, turn on cleartype, and before criticizing me for liking subpixel antialiasing, go tune up your cleartype if you see it too much colorful: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/Step1.aspx HTH!
