The old workaround still works:
Either you have to insert at least one blank line at the end of the file for
each item to replace (i.e. as many blank lines as replacements),
or you can do the backward replace starting from the end of the file.

For info, any proposed solutions did not work on build 2.5.2 (2237) or I miss
something.
