either way, why use us-ascii? try iso8859-1 supposedly there is a iso8859-15 that supports euro char natively, but it doesnt show all accented chars fine in most browsers
either way, in iso8859-1 you actually can write most accented chars as-is, without having to write á and so, and as far as i've tried, most browsers will show euro char perfectly fine if you write it directly in that charset -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,30578,33760> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
