First off, let me say that PSPad has, in a matter of only months, become my the most invaluable tool in my toolbox. I run a command-line interface tool that requires much manipulation of text based input and output files.
Now, one thing that would make it soooo much easier to run this tool on multiple projects in parallel, is if I could fully capture the command interpreter into one of the bottom windows. I know it's at least theoretically possible, as I've done something similar while programming in C#.NET, capturing the standard input & output streams of a process. Also, in capturing the I/O, it really needs to scroll down to the bottom of the stream at all times (the interface assumes it will happen, and it's annoying to have to keep scrolling to find out when it's finished.) Also, it would be nice if you could keep a blank command window from opening & stealing the focus. That way, I could run the command line from within PSPad, edit the I/O files, and separate projects (one to a window), complete with file browser. It might be easier, in fact, if this was made a separate tab from the 'log' window. Oh, and one last thing: an option to override the title bar's text content would be welcome. (Not nearly as critical, though.) Thank you for listening, and for making PSPad! -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,40594,40594> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
