Well, actually I'm not having such long times, even when I load a File and the responding projectfile with 10000 Lines before. So I whould like to ask some Questions for further Information: 1. Is PSPad opened or closed, when the File is loaded? 2. Is the WSH Script Support enabled or not? 3. If 2. Are there many scripts to load in the script folder of PSPad? 4. Is a Project loaded with or before that file? 5. Is the Syntax-Highlightning enabled? This is actual when .txt is defined in Highlightning properties as filetype to highlight. 6. Is the File used by other programs in that moment of loading. 7. Is something else running, taking resources of your Computer, because of loading that File with a Nonsystem App (e.g. Anti-Virus,Firewall,Antispyware,etc.)?
Actually I'm not the one who solve that problem. I'm only interessed and think these informations are important to analyse it (Even if Jan whould have this File to test and whould get the same result, I think, if there's no other reason crapable, he whould prove these things, too).
