Thank you. I have been trying it but something still seems to escape me. How can I assign a specific keymapping to return to the characters I want? For example let's say I want to hit CTRL+M and have that give me the script.
I tried it in a couple different .DEF files but couldn't get it to work. I also went and removed the previous key-mapping that was already in place for CTRL+M. Ok to be more specific, I open up the HTML.DEF file. First question - will this file apply only when I am working in a .html file type? Second, I notice there are some keymappings already set up in the file. For example I find this: [b1 | bold text ]*CTRL+B §| Now, if I change that to return just as a test: [b1 | bold text ]*CTRL+B §| then save the file, I don't actually get returned in my file! I still get . Why is that? Is there another step I need to take to confirm I have updated the .DEF file? Still confused... :-| -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,45745,45781> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
