Hi! WHEN:
- I put the cursor at the top-left position of a text-region of interest, - press "Alt" to access block-copy mode, - with the left-mouse button pressed select a rectangular block, - then do ctrl-C to copy the selection somewhere else, - place the cursor elsewhere by left-clicking the mouse at that location in the text, - paste the copied block by pressing ctrl-v AND THEN - when I move the cursor to some other location in the text with the arrow-keys - and press "shift" followed by another arrow-key to make a new selection (not a block) THEN... no new text-selection is made! The text remains black-on-white! Only when I first make a selection with the mouse, then I can select text by pressing shift-followed by arrow-keys. Otherwise shift-arrowkey does not do anything!
