I have the same problem with big HTML files. Here is an example. Please download these two files:
http://www.4shared.com/file/77048372/da5727f/large_html.html - image (25K) of a large HTML file (5000 lines) http://www.4shared.com/file/77048351/a69a4147/small_html.html? - image (25k) of a small file made of cut & paste from the first 100 lines of the same large file. PSPad shows the first one as HTML, what is not desireable, and the second one as HTML highlighter.
