Hi, I've thought of an UI improvement to manage multi-views in PSPad.
When using the vertical splitting menu option of a tab, PSPad actually creates a 2-view version of the current tab file. But when we are in this display mode, there's no way to change the file viewed in the left or in the right splitted window. What would be very handy is to be able, while having multiple tabs opened, to view in a simple way 2 of them in a 2-view splitted window. The infamous MDI standard interface is no answer to this because of the overly complicated way for the user to mess with windows. So my request is, when we are in this splitted window mode, to be able to change the file displayed in the current active pane (the left or the right one) simply by clicking on another tab, while leaving the other pane with the current file displayed on screen. A somewhat similar feature is found in Notepad++ and jEdit, and it's really missing in PSPad IMHO. Thanx -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,49725,49725> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
