+1 with Carbonize. This topic already has a thread: http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,46848,46929#msg-46929 I don't mind an optional 'close icon' in the active tab, but it strikes me as redundant on several levels. In addition to the aforementioned thread, CTRL-W (which closes a tab in Firefox) can easily be mapped to 'close tab' (it normally triggers _View > Word wrap lines_ in PSPad's default settings).
