By long experiment, I found how to use wscript.exe part of Windows Scripting
Host. I had set up the external application (WScript.exe) and then, thanks to a
small FAQ hint, I added the file name and extension to the command line by
right-clicking. Also I had to add double-quotes around the paramater string so
that javascript file names with embedded blanks (e.g., 'Test file.js') would
work. Works great!

The CScript.exe external application will probably work the same way, but I
haven't tried it yet.
