Hi No, not messed with computer. It is a Dell Vostro running W7, which is more or less up to date. I have no other program instability, including navigational graphics.
I posted to this thread as it corresponds with my experience: very frequent crashes (every 5 minutes or less) that makes it almost impossible to use. I am editing HTML and have word wrap on, in common with another poster. After an access violation error, the program will normally offer terminate. Sometimes I can save the work at that point, not always. The program 'beeps' on any keystroke. Other times it will crash out to a Microsoft error recovery message. Occasionally I have to terminate it with task manager. When restarted, other pspad processes appear to be running, can get a repeated error message re access violation, and also 'unable to delete tab x'. I haven't been able to save the error log as the application is not in control - error beeps at keystrokes. I have just managed to get a screen dump which I will try to attach.. (viz ) (failed).
