Immediately after experiencing this bug http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?4,60066 I decided to close and re-open PSPad in case the program state had become unstable. I chose "file->exit", then immediately re-ran PSPad and got window titled "Application Error" with an error message. I don't know if this occurred because I attempted to re-open PSPad so quickly (perhaps it had not properly finished exiting), or if it was related to the previous bug.
The application error window says: Exception EAccessViolation in module PSPad.exe at 0000421C. Access violation at address 0040421C in module 'PSPad.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFFF. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?4,60067,60067> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
