Stefan: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi guys,
PSPad is an text editor. Projects are for text based files only. That PSPad has an FTP client is an accommodation from the author of PSPad, Jan. This is for text files only! You should be thankful that you have this. For your other files you can get one of that freeware FTP clients from e.g. snapfiles.com or nonags.com What's next what you want? "I have an project. PSPad show me the files, but why has PSPad no sync functions to synchronize with my backup?" or "I have images in my project. Why can't i edit them in PSPad? Bad thing!" So see: PSPad is an text editor for coders. And a really good one. For sync issues there are good synchronizing apps. For image there are plenty good graphics editors. And for FTP there are apps made for this purpose only. Perhaps you should ask an FTP client coder if he can add text editing functions in his product for you? So if you are an coder you should know what app is for what purpose :-D Advertising: For file handling including FTP and Synchronizing you can take an look at Total Commander over at www.Ghisler.com. Only 28 €. For small but good and cheap graphic editor take a look at www.pl32.com for PhotoLine32 or at www.PhotoFiltre.com for freeware PhotoFiltre. All are small and stand alone as PSPad is, less Registry access. Ah, and an good an healthy 2007 for you all. ;-) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ouch... Well, with that said. I'm dropping PSPad because it is too simple. I need to be able to upload files and navigate (easily) the directory structure of my site(s). For what it is... PSPad is a GREAT free program. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,37035,62890> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
