Jan, One thing I tend to do is put the PSPad.INI in the application folder so that anyone who then uses PSPad for the first time will get a "preset" PSPad.INI copied to their roaming folder. It seems that with the new Updater it removes this file on update; is this something can be avoided or configured? Pete
