Hello,
I've very similar problem, in my case both files are opened from local
filesystem.

The sequence (in my case) to reproduce the problem is:
. Open file A
. TextDiff (from Windows Explorer context menu) file B
. Close comparison tab
. Close file B
. TextDiff (from Windows Explorer context menu) file C (this compares A vs C)
. Close comparison tab --> Access violation !!

In short, the error appears when closing the second comparison tab. (The second
file comparison maybe with B again, the error happens the same).

In this case, PSPad closes without bringing the option to email the stack dump.

It shows the following two error messages, and terminates.
Version is 5.0.6 (589) 64b

Just to say, this is not new, my previous version 5.0.3 32b also exposed the
problem, but I didn't perform a precise sequence determination until now.

Kind regards
