Hi again, I was able to find out what causes the issue.
Since I'm using PSPad I regularly update to the latest beta. Since I never overwrote the file PSPad.ini there seems to be wrong entries now causing the Search / Replace in files Steps to reproduce: 1. download and extract https://pspad.poradna.net/devel/pspad551b790.zip 2. download PSPad.ini from https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Kj5XIhWKkGR7JHJ3YeRT7zdy9r8ZfarI?us p=sharing and save it in the root of PSPad 3. try Search / Replace in files (I searched in C:\Temp for "test") -- <https://forum.pspad.com/read.php?6,78521,78526> PSPad freeware editor https://www.pspad.com
