I'm using PSPad 5.5.1 (825) (32b) and I'm occasionally seeing this same file corruption.
For me, the corruption is always on a line that has a 1-indent } closing brace and is always of this 9-byte format: Original: 0d 0a 20 20 20 20 7d 0d 0a Corruption: 0d 0a ff 00 20 20 10 0d 0a I don't recall seeing it happen on a line that had anything after the } brace, but I usually don't put anything after a 1-indent closing brace, so the ending 0d 0a may be a coincidence.
