This is the second or third message today from Mr. Velander where he
responded, confirming or restating what I had written, but in a manner such
that he appeared to imagine he was disagreeing with me or that I was
disagreeing with him. This (disagreement) was true for only one post today,
and the subject post is not one of the three.
When I wrote that connection dots were "almost irrelevant," I was referring
to the function of the dots; perhaps it would have been better for me to write:
Connection dots, for a properly-drawn schematic (i.e., properly drawn
according to my opinion), are redundant. However, with autojunction turned
on, they will warn the user if unintended connections are made by crossing
hot spots. A consequence of this situation is that one would advisedly
leave autojunction on while drawing a schematic or changing it.
There is more that could be said on this subject to make it completely
clear, I definitely have not explained it all. Someone else is welcome to
fill in what I've left out.
