Hi David,
No problem sharing this with you. I first created a dummy net for one of the pair of
pins that wasn't electrically connected to anything in the circuit and then added the
two pins to the net (the thru hole and the surface mount pad). The ERC error cleared
itself.
The thru hole pad of the next pair of pins was alread connected to a net, so I added
the surface mount pad to the same net and the ERC cleared itself again.
I'm not sure why I missed this when I first looked at the problem, but suffice to say
that the solution was fairly obvious once it was found.
I will forward you the file, and details of where the thermal relief problem is
located under separate cover.
