Only the Forum administrator (or another Techserv employee with access to
the subscription machinery) can help with this. We do not know how much
attention Techserv pays to this list; occasionally we see administrative
messages.
If the web unsubscription or direct mail unsubscription mechanisms do not
work, and contacting the administrator as is also suggested at the end of
every message has produced no response, I'd suggest trying to contact a
human being at Techserv. My guess is that any address @techservinc.com will
work, but one could try [EMAIL PROTECTED], since that address is what is
on the web site for inquiries about Techserv services.
However, the most common cause for automatic subscription services to fail
is an attempt to unsubscribe for one address while using another. To help
determine what is happening, it would be useful to examine the full headers
from a piece of mail to the aggrieved subscriber from the list. This should
show if it has been forwarded.
The user association's yahoogroups lists can and do have multiple
moderators around the world, any one of whom can modify subscriptions for a
user who is having problems. But this Forum is privately run by Techserv,
not by the actual user's association.
